Installazione SSD 840 EVO da 120GB Samsung

Samsung guida passo passo l’utente in tutte le operazioni necessarie per upgrade, sia con documentazione completa e illustrata in PDF, sia tramite i software;  infine con due video tutorial sul sito rende tutte le operazioni davvero a prova di principiante, almeno per quanto riguarda la sostituzione del disco con i laptop.

Con l’applicativo "Data Migration" risulta semplicissimo clonare il vecchio disco sul nuovo SSD e con "Samsung Magician" invece vi aiuta nelle operazioni di settaggio dei parametri, la manutenzione e nel controllo delle prestazioni.

Il laptop in esame ha le seguenti caratteristiche:

CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU     T6670  @ 2.20GHz

HD : HITACHI Travelstar 5K320 320GB  SATA-II   5400RPM  8MB

SCHEDA VIDEO : NVIDIA GeForce GT 220M CUDA   VRAM   1GB

MAINBOARD : ASUS   X70I

Risultato con l'upgrade è a dir poco sorprendente,  il pc ha tempi di avvio e accesso nemmeno lontanamente comparabili a quelli possibili con il vecchio disco.

Elenco solo uno paio dei dati rilevati, il tempo di avvio prima della sostituzione del disco era di 4 minuti e 23 secondi fino a che caricava l'ultimo programma "RainMeter" , ora questa situazione avviene in 44 secondi. Un altro dato è il test di sistema integrato in Windows seven vedi le due figure di seguito:

Concludo che con una spesa di 72,79 euro, non pochi ma nemmeno un esagerazione, il pc cambia totalmente la propria reattività in tutti gli scenari portando un pc come il mio ad avere la marcia in più che aveva qualche anno fa.
